To celebrate the 67th Anniversary of Barbie - we are posting your favorite dolls for all to see and share!

Barbie, created by Ruth Handler and manufactured by Mattel, was introduced to the doll community
​on March 9, 1959.

​Presented as a 'teen-age fashion model', Barbie was created to encourage fashion creativity and inspire children to envision their upcoming adult life and careers.

I grew up with Barbie and had many outfits and accessories ... but my favorite was her cardboard dream house ! I still think it is much better and stylish than the plastic versions that followed. This is a photo of my actual Dream House. Submitted by Susan Swickard.

When I was a child, I played with Barbie Superstar, so she is my fav Barbie, however, between most recent molds, my fav one is this: Louboutin. Submitted by Sara Tiziana.

I got this Malibu Skipper to replace one from my childhood. I was never a Barbie girl- it was Skipper all the way. The paper doll is also Skipper and wearing a dress very similar to the doll. She was drawn by Diana Vining. Both from the Gina Clarke collection. Submitted by Gina Clarke.
