A native of the U.K., now located in California, USA, I have been an artist, designer, photographer, and seamstress for many decades, a creative distraction from a career in Radiation Oncology and marketing.
Doll Art began in 1988, with reproduction porcelain dolls. My line of originally sculpted porcelains debuted in 1992, exhibiting at New York Toy Fair, IDEX, etc., which over the years garnered several awards, including Best of Show (original/professional, 1997) at the San Francisco Bay Doll Art show.
Additionally, I designed porcelain prototypes for a mass production doll company. My latest creations are one-of-a-kind 16" & 22" vinyl lady repaints, beginning with a blank canvas & evolving into a unique character, using top quality materials in all aspects of the design. Wigs and eyes are often removed and substituted with better quality replacements. I design the patterns and sew all of the costumes for my ladies, which range from Historical Eras to Fantasy.
