Submission Guidelines

Please follow the ART DOLLS Magazine submission guidelines to aid our staff in preparing and publishing your article.  Prior to forwarding your submission, we ask that you review your article for accuracy, completeness, and that you have followed the requirements for submission.  ART DOLLS Magazine reserves the right to decide to accept and to determine which issue of the digital magazine the article will appear.  Deadlines for submission are:
Your Submission Packet:
​​The following documents must be included with your first-time article submission:
  • Article text in a compatible file document with Microsoft Word (for example, .docx, .doc, .rtf, .txt)
  • Any artwork or photographs to accompany the article
  • An author biography (this can be a short paragraph indicating who you are and why are you writing the article)
  • Permission to Publish form (please use this downloadable fillable PDF form)
Subsequent submissions only require: your article and the 'Permission to Publish' form:
Photographs/Imagery must be submitted in a high-resolution .jpg or .jpeg file format type at 300-600 dpi (or in pixels, at least 2400×3000) whenever possible.  Photos embedded in documents will not be accepted.  Photos are to be named so that they can easily be arranged by the ART DOLLS Magazine staff within your article.

Article submissions should include references within the article indicating where a photograph should appear.
​Editing Your Article:
ART DOLLS Magazine reserves the right to edit submissions for logic, clarity, format, and grammar.
Submitting Your Article:
​Articles may be submitted via the email address of [email protected] based on file size.  For larger articles or images, we suggest using a file transfer service (such as www.wetransfer.com).  The ART DOLLS Staff does not recommend one service over the other, that is a personal choice of the author, but any fees incurred for a file transfer will not be accepted by ART DOLLS Magazine.  To request consideration of reserving an article space, please email:

Unsolicited Articles:
We welcome and accept articles for publication that were not requested by the ART DOLLS Magazine staff but as a free contribution to the magazine and website.  Selection of any submissions are at the full discretion of ART DOLLS Magazine. Any renumeration is solely at the discretion of the owners of ART DOLLS Magazine.
